This short video (made with Jing) shows you how to use UW Request within Research@UWW:

How to Use UW Request

UW Request is a free service that allows UWW faculty, staff and students to borrow books, videos, CDs, DVDs, microforms, government documents, etc. from any UW System library, and have them sent to UWW's Andersen Library Circulation Desk for pick-up. All UW campuses participate, although certain items are not available via this service, including: special collections, periodicals (journals, magazines and newspapers), periodical articles, and other non-circulating materials.

General Information

  • Materials usually take 2-5 weekdays to arrive
  • You will be notified using your UWW email account when items are ready for checkout at the Library Circulation Desk.
  • The system does NOT send notifications when a request cannot be filled; however, it will be noted in your "My Account."
  • More information about UW Request is available in the online How to Borrow from Other Libraries guide, or ask a librarian.
