• The LA84 Foundation was created with surplus funds from the 1984 Olympic Games. While some of the information on this site is related to youth sports in California, the LA84 Publications & Resources page of the site contains information for coaches and links to research reports.

Education Related

• ERIC
  The ERIC database is the world's largest source of education information. The database contains more than 950,000 abstracts of documents and journal articles on education research and practice. Andersen Library owns the microfiche set of the ERIC ED documents, and many are now available online.
• Kraus Curriculum Development Library (KCDL)
  A searchable database of curricula, frameworks, and standards that brings together educational objectives, content, instructional strategies, and evaluative techniques for all subjects covered in PreK-12 and Adult Basic Education.
• PsycINFO
  PsycINFO contains citations and summaries of journal articles, book chapters, and books in psychology, as well as psychological aspects of related disciplines, such as medicine, psychiatry, nursing, sociology, education, pharmacology, physiology, linguistics, anthropology, business, and law. Includes PsycLit database.

• CINAHL Plus with Full Text
  Provides indexing for 3,001 journals from the fields of nursing and allied health, with indexing back to 1937.
• Consumer Health Complete
  Consumer Health Complete provides access to full text for more than 200 health reference books and encyclopedias, health reports, health pamphlets and leaflets, full text from nearly 570 consumer health related periodicals and physician-generated videos.
  
• Health Source: Consumer Edition
  With Health Source: Consumer Edition you can search for information on many health topics including the medical sciences, food sciences and nutrition, childcare, sports medicine and general health. Health Source: Consumer Edition features searchable full text for nearly 160 journals including the British Medical Journal and The Lancet, as well as abstracts and indexing for over 170 general health, nutrition and professional health care publications.
• Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition
  Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition provides nearly 520 scholarly full text journals focusing on many medical disciplines. Also featured are abstracts and indexing for over 550 journals.
• Medline with Full Text
  Produced by the National Library of Medicine, Medline with Full Text covers all aspects of biomedicine including nursing, dentistry and veterinary medicine. It provides full text for more than 1,470 journals that are indexed in MEDLINE.
• ScienceDirect College Edition
  Extensive Full Text access to the Elsevier journal collections

Sports Related

• SPORTDiscus with Full Text
  Restricted to 4 users at a time
  Offers comprehensive, bibliographic coverage of sport, fitness and related disciplines. This database contains over 600,000 records with journal and monograph coverage going back to 1800.

General Physical Education

• The Virtual Library of Sport
  Extensive information on a wide variety of sports. Sports are organized into the following categories: Ball, wheel, water, outdoor and the rest. Resources are added and updated by volunteers.
• Dance Resources
  The Dance Directory provides links to three kinds of dance web sites: 1) sites that have good collections of links, usually in a specialized area of dance, 2) sites that include information about an area of dance, and 3) selected sites of dance organizations and individual dancers.

• PE Webring
  List of the members of the Physical Education WebRing.
• pelinks4u
  Organized into categories such as elementary pe, secondary pe, and adapted pe, PELinks4U is a newsletter type publication that provides activity ideas and much, much more.
• Education Index: Physical Education
  Education Index is an annotated guide to education related websites. Pages are organized by subject and lifestage. The subject guide to Physical Education contains a long list of links.
