The University library subscribes to a variety of databases and indexes which can help researchers find articles on a topic. The following databases are just a few of the databases related to education. - Children's Literature Comprehensive Database (CLCD)
CLCD is a complete source of information about children's books and a tool for leading you to the best books. There are more than 150,000 reviews of children's books--all full text searchable from 27 sources of reviews including The Cooperative Childrens Book Center [CCBC] which originates in Madison. - ERIC
The ERIC database contains abstracts of journals and documents (book chapters, conference proceedings, etc) on educational research and practice, including the topics of school counseling and mental health assessment. Older ERIC Documents may be found in the ERIC microfiche collection. - Education Full Text
Education Full Text covers 423 core international periodicals, monographs, and yearbooks. Topics include a wide range of contemporary education issues. Includes abstracts from January 1994 and indexing from June 1983. Full-text coverage begins in January 1996. - KCDL
A searchable database of curricula, frameworks, and standards that brings together educational objectives, content, instructional strategies, and evaluative techniques for all subjects covered in PreK-12 and Adult Basic Education. - Professional Development Collection (EBSCOhost)

Professional Development Collection, designed for professional educators, provides a highly specialized collection of over 550 full text journals, including more than 350 peer-reviewed titles. In addition to full text, indexing and abstracts are provided for more than 800 journals. The majority of full text titles included in the database are available in native (searchable) PDF, or scanned-in-color. Full text information dates as far back as 1965. - PsycINFO
PsycINFO contains citations and summaries of journal articles, book chapters, and books in psychology, as well as psychological aspects of related disciplines, such as medicine, psychiatry, nursing, sociology, education, pharmacology, physiology, linguistics, anthropology, business, and law. Includes PsycLit database. - SPORTDiscus
Indexes and abstracts all aspects of sport, physical fitness, sport science and recreation.
