- CRESST (Center for Research on Evaluation, Standards, & Student Testing)located in UCLA's Graduate School of Education & Information Studies, works to improve education by improving the assessment of student skills and knowledge and the evaluation of educational programs.
- Psych Central is the oldest psychology and mental health directory on the Internet, begun in 1992 as an index to mental health and support newsgroups. This site offers a wealth of information on mental health disorders, symptoms, treatments, and interactive online quizzes.

There are three different LexisNexis databases. Use LexisNexis Academic to search international, national, state, local and legal news related to counseling. Use LexisNexis Congressional to track legislation that affects counselors and the services that counselors offer. Use LexisNexis Statistical to gather data on a wide variety of topics. - Academic Search Premier (Ebscohost)

Academic Search Premier provides abstracts and indexing for over 3,200 scholarly journals covering the social sciences, humanities, education and more. Many of the articles are in full-text. Use Academic Search as a starting place for interdisciplinary topics.

The ERIC database contains abstracts of journals and documents (book chapters, conference proceedings, etc) on educational research and practice, including the topics of school counseling and mental health assessment. Many ERIC documents are available in full text in the ERIC database. Older ERIC Documents may be found in the ERIC microfiche collection located in the Periodicals Microform Room on the first floor of Andersen Library. - Education Full Text
