The library has both video and "point and shoot" digital cameras available. Cameras may be borrowed for 7 days. Large and small tripods are also available for check out. An overdue fine of $5.00 per day for late returns.
Patrons must adhere to copyright regulations regarding software and internet usage. Display of pornographic images or use of inappropriate language may constitute student misconduct or sexual harassment that is subject to university disciplinary action and prosecution under the laws of the State of Wisconsin.
Each camera has a 2GB SD memory card and a USB cable to download photos. Patrons must delete all photos before returning the camera. The replacement charge for a lost or damaged digital camera is $200.
The Library's flip cameras can record up to 2 hours of video with audio. They are easy to use and can be connected to any comupter via USB to download or video charge. Patrons must delete all photos before returning the camera.
One video camera is available for check out. The camera comes with cables required to connect to most computers and a charger. Video can be recorded onto a 8cm DVD disc, memory stick or directly to a computer. Patrons must provide their own discs or memory sticks. The replacement charge for a lost or damaged video camera is $600.
A limited number of web cams are available for 3-day loan. Camera requires software (provided) be installed on user's computer.
