Adaptive Equipment

In addition to the adaptive software on the Library's computers, the Library also has some adaptive technology available for check out. These items may be checked out for 3 days.

Smartpen

The Smartpen records audio while you take notes. The audio can then be played back in sync with your notes and/or saved to any computer with a USB cable. Special LiveScribe notebooks, required for the pen, are provided. The replacement charge for a lost or damaged smart pen is $330.

Portable Magnifier

The Porable Mangifier enlarges and captures images at any distance. Images can be transefered to any computer with a USB cable. The replacement charge for a lost or damaged portable magnifier is $4,320.
