Library Catalog Upgrade/UB Down July 20-21
The online catalog of the UW-W University Library will remain available for searching during an upgrade on July 20-21 (Thursday-Friday), 2006. However, during those two days the Universal Borrowing service, which allows UW-W faculty, staff and students to borrow books, videos and other materials from other UW libraries, will not be available.
All UW System libraries will be undergoing the upgrade between July 10 and August 18, 2006. When a particular campus library is undergoing the upgrade, UW-W patrons cannot use UB to request materials from that library. Here is the schedule for the upgrades:

Off-Campus Login Change
For some time faculty, staff and students have had two ways to login to gain access to subscription databases and electronic reserves from off-campus computers: either using the Net-ID (same as the username and password for campus e-mail) or using last name and 7-digit UW-Whitewater ID number. For security reasons, the latter option has been removed.
If you are experiencing difficulties with your campus Net-ID, please contact the Computer Help Desk at (262) 472-4357. More information about the Help Desk, including its hours, is online.
