Multi-disciplinary database which provides more than 7,000 full-text periodicals, including nearly 6,000 peer-reviewed journals.

Alternative Press Index (FirstSearch : 1991- )    
Indexes over 250 alternative, radical and left periodicals, newspapers and magazines covering cultural, economic, political and social change. Also includes selected abstracts from research journals.

Dissertation Abstracts (FirstSearch: 1861- )    
The complete range of academic subjects appearing in dissertations accepted at accredited institutions. Indexing began in 1861, abstracts of dissertations in 1980, and abstracts of theses in 1988.

IngentaConnect  
Ingenta.com allows users to set up a custom user profiles and search alerts to be sent periodically to your e-mail. Library access to articles is limited to citations and abstracts. Although you can purchase the articles at your own expense through Ingenta, use Citation Linker to quickly determine its availability through other Library databases.

LexisNexis Academic    
Access to a wide range of full-text news, company information, business news, legal research and reference information.

MAS Ultra-School Edition (EBSCOhost)       
Provides full text for over 330 general interest and current events magazines.

MasterFILE Premier (EBSCOhost)      
Provides abstracts and indexing for more than 3,100 periodicals, plus searchable full text for more than 1,500 active periodicals. Subjects covered include general reference, business, health, multi-cultural and more. Total coverage includes over 4 million articles.

Newspaper Source Plus (EBSCOhost)      
Newspaper Source Plus provides selected full text for over 1520 regional U.S. newspapers, international newspapers, newswires, newspaper columns and other sources, providing more than 28 million full-text articles. In addition, the database features more than 601,300 television and radio news transcripts, videos & podcasts. This database is updated daily.

OmniFile Full Text: Mega Edition (WilsonWeb)    
Wilson OmniFile Full Text: Mega Edition is a database that contains indexing and abstracting of approximately 1,644 periodicals with more than 545 titles available in Partial/Full Text. Databases included in this file are: Business Full Text, General Science Full Text, Humanities Full Text, Readers' Guide Full Text, and Social Sciences Full Text. Indexing coverage begins in 1983, abstracting in 1984, and partial/full text in 1995.

Biographical information on African Americans 1790-1950. AABD draws its initial content from Chadwyck-Healey's acclaimed Black Biographical Dictionaries 1790-1950. Biographical portraits from newly uncovered dictionaries as well as from other published reference sources, obituary files, slave narrative collections, internet sites, etc. will be added as the database expands.
