But what if I don't find what I'm are looking for? Try the following before giving up:

• Recheck the spelling of the title
• Remember to omit the initial article (A, An, or The, etc.) of the title, if there is one, but to keep the articles within the title
• Try replacing "&" with "and" and vice versa
• Try searching only the title before or after the colon
• Try doing a Keyword search using part of the title, by putting it in quotes.
• (Current faculty, staff and students of UW-W only) If the University Library does not have what you want, you may try to borrow it for free using Universal Borrowing (UB) or for a small fee using Interlibrary loan (ILL)
• Ask a Reference Librarian for help
