Yippee! You Have Finished the Relevance Module!
If I don't find what I'm looking for, what can I do?
Before you give up, you may want to:
- Check the spelling of your search terms
- Omit all punctuation
- Use the plus sign (+) to denote an essential term
- Remember you CANNOT use and, or, or not to connect words or terms
- Broaden the search by truncating one or more of the words
- Broaden the search by removing or changing limits
- Check to make sure there are beginning and ending quotes for phrases
- (Current faculty, staff and students only) Try UB or ILL
- Ask a Reference Librarian for help
Other modules that may be of interest:
- To learn how to export your results, try the Print/Save/Email Options module
- To learn how to revise or repeat previous searches, go to the Search History module
- To learn how to limit your search by date, type of media, language, or location, go to the Limits module.
For assistance, contact a reference librarian at (262) 472-1032, by email or chat or in person at the Library's Reference Desk.
