Ranking the Results

Once the Catalog has completed a search by relevance, it ranks the retrieved records according to a predetermined "relevancy" or importance formula. Each record receives a rank from 1 to 5, with 5 being the highest and most relevant to your search. The higher the ranking, the higher a Record appears on the Title List.

Relevance Rank Example

Note: The order of results is determined by a preset formula, & isn't a guarantee that the best materials for you are at the top. The ranking should be used as a general guide rather than an absolute authority. Always check and evaluate results yourself to find the best resources for your needs.
