Quick Limits

The Quick Limit method for setting limits is fast and easy. The seven Quick Limits were chosen to give you the most benefit, since they are the ones most frequently used. The Quick limits are:

• Since 20XX - finds anything published in the last six years
• Video Collection - finds videos and DVDs
• Sound Recording - finds CDs (non-software), cassette tapes and records
• Main Collection - finds books in this circulating collection
• Periodicals Collection - finds print journals, magazines and newspapers (but not articles in them)
• Reference Collection - finds books in this non-circulating collection, such as encyclopedias, dictionaries, handbooks, atlases, etc.
• Curriculum Collection - finds K-12 textbooks, juvenile fiction & nonfiction, easy books, kits & games, and more
