Basic Search
The Basic Search mode provides a single textbox for your search. This is probably the best place to start if you are new to keyword searching. The features outlined below are discussed in more detail later in this module.
Features
- Type in Boolean operators (and, or, and not) to combine keywords
- Truncation to broaden search
- Phrase searching to narrow search
- Up to 255 characters of keywords and terms in asingle box
- Retrieves a Title List of records in chronological order by publication date (newest first)
