The Item Record

Brief view of item record: title, subjects, publisher, location, call no & status

The first half of the Brief View of an Item Record provides information about it, such as who published it and other citation details. A bracketed word in the title may indicate what type of material it is. If there no bracketed word, the item is most likely a book, government document or pamphlet. The Location will help you determine this.

The second half of the Item Record (below the line) is the holdings statement. It provides the location & call number needed to find it in one of the Library's locations. This video is in the (Media) Center Video Collection under call number PN1997.85 .H42 1987. The status is Not Checked out, so is in the Library. If it had been Checked Out or Renewed, it would not be here, and a due date would have appeared.

Click on the Full View button to find out more about an item, such as length and perhaps a table of contents or abstract.
Click on the Titles button to return to the Titles List or the New Search button to go the search screen (not shown).
