Web of Science

Web of Science is made up of three databases: Arts & Humanities Citation Index; Social Science Citation Index and Science Citation Index Expanded They can be searched as a whole or individually. Use Web of Science to:

  • Search for citations to articles on a wide range of topics
  • Look at the references that have been used for a particular article (cited references). This can lead to other relevant articles.
  • See how often the article has been referred to (times cited) by other authors. In addition to finding out if other researchers use the article you can find more current information on the topic.

Web of Science does not have full text, click on the button to see if UW-W has access to the article online or in print.
