Your Personal Record for students on the go!
Renew library books online! Save catalog search results for later viewing! Save and rerun catalog search queries automatically! All of these time-saving features are possible using your Personal Record in the library's online catalog!
To access your personal library record, open the University Library's online catalog and click the Personal Record button at the top. Login using your UW-Whitewater ID number and last name. Your Personal Record allows you to:
- check due dates for library items
- renew books and other library items online
- check the status of any pending book requests
- check library fines and fees owed
My Bookbag is another neat feature found in your personal record. It lets you save catalog search results for later viewing. To use, open the online catalog. Click Login at the top of the search screen, and log in. Conduct your search, and click the checkbox next to those records you wish to save. Then click Save to Bookbag at the bottom of the search screen. To later access those saved records, login to your Personal Record and click My Bookbag. Always remember to Logout at the end of your session.
You might also want to try the Save Search Query feature, which allows you to:
- save search queries for future reference
- set up search queries to automatically rerun at set intervals
To use this feature, open the online catalog. Click Login at the top of the search screen, and log in. Conduct your search, and then click Save Search Query at the bottom of the screen. To set up an email alert, choose how often you want the search to run. Then choose whether to be notified regardless of new search results, or only when new results are found. Click Submit. If you later want to view or delete your saved searches, login to your Personal Record and click Saved Searches. Always remember to Logout at the end of your session.
