PsycARTICLES

PsycARTICLES from EBSCOhost is a full-text database of scholarly articles related to all aspects of psychology. It is searchable by keyword, author and title and by other more specialized categories.  The database covers general psychology and specialized basic, applied, clinical, and theoretical research in psychology. Some of its features include:

  • Full text articles from journals published by the American Psychological Association and the APA Educational Publishing Foundation.
  • Full text articles from selected journals published by the Canadian Psychological Association and Hogrefe & Huber Publishers
  • Letters to the editor and errata included
  • Coverage from 1988 to the present for most journals

While PsycARTICLES has the full text of nearly 50 journals a more complete search for information in psychology can be made in PsycINFO.  The PsycINFO database indexes over 1,700 journals as well as books, chapters in books and dissertations. Although PsycINFO is not a full text database there are links to the full text available from PsycARTICLES. It is also possible to find out whether an article you are interested in is full text by going to the Journal Holdings List.
