McNaughton Collection & Audio Books:
Summer Reading

What better way to spend a summer afternoon than stretched out on a hammock with a good book and a cool drink! The Library's McNaughton Collection offers 700 popular fiction and non-fiction titles to fill your summer afternoons with mystery, romance, danger, adventure, thrills, laughter and exotic travels. The University Library has a lot more to offer than academic works.

You can browse the McNaughton titles in the Library Catalog or look at them on the shelves across from the Circulation Desk where they're arranged by the author's last name. McNaughton books that are listed in the Catalog as "on order" are not yet available. Since new titles are added each month, check back often to see what's new.

Audio Books

Another great way to stay cool this summer is to listen to books on CD. Mary Shelley's Frankenstein will send shivers up your spine, while the sinister adventures of Jack Kerley's Death Collectors and David Morrell's Creepers will chill you to the bone. Try all 20 audio books on CD (by the way, most of them aren't scary). We'll keep adding titles if the audio format catches on with Library users.
