The resources listed below are used to find books, government documents, video recordings, DVDs, CDs, and other materials, but not periodical articles. To find those, use an article database or Research@UWW.
Thousands of online books subscribed to by the library. Locate books by searching ebrary itself, or search the "Everything" scope in Research@UWW and limit to electronic books.
eBooks Collection (EbscoHost)
Thousands of older, online books subscribed to by the library.
Searches across the library's physical holdings, like books and DVDs, and most of the libraries databases, including several with ebooks. Will also find periodical articles. Change "Everything" to "Books, Media & more (UW Whitewater)" after running a search to find the library's print holdings and some, but not all, ebooks. You can also limit to Books after running a search and it will find both print and online books.
Formerly called Universal Borrowing, use this service to find materials in UW system libraries. To borrow for free, search Research@UWW and then change "Everything" to "Books, Media & more (UW system)" and run the search again. Sign In is required before placing the request.
