Mark Twain’s Mississippi Writings: Life on the Mississippi and Pudd’nhead Wilson by Mark Twain

Join UW-Whitewater’s fourth year as an official “Big Read” site as we’ll be reading Life on the Mississippi and Pudd’nhead Wilson from the works of Mark Twain. Faculty, staff and students are welcome to join an open discussion of one of America’s most notable writers. “All modern American literature comes from one book by Mark Twain called Huckleberry Finn. American writing comes from that. There is nothing before. There has been nothing as good since.” - Ernest Hemingway.
