Browse Techniques
When using the Basic Search mode there are five Search By methods that are browses:
Browses produce an alphabetical list of results, beginning with the term(s) entered.
- Author and Subject Heading browses produce an authority Headings List of standardized terms, from which you click on the desired heading to see a Title List of works in the University Library that match that heading
- Title, Journal Title and Call Number browses produce a Title List of works in the Andersen Library
Title and Journal Title browses may have limits applied, but the Author, Subject Heading and Call Number browses may not.
