If I don't find what I'm looking for, what can I do? Try the following before giving up:

• Recheck the spelling of the subject heading
• Remember that you need to know the exact subject heading, or the first part of one, in order to search by subject
• Search by keyword using terms describing your topic
• Omit all punctuation, including the dashes between subheadings
• Remove any limits, since you may not impose them when searching by subject
• (Current faculty, staff and students only) Try UB or ILL
• Ask a Reference Librarian for help
