Truncation
Truncation allows for multiple endings of the same root word to be searched simultaneously. The question mark ( ? ) is attached to the end of a root word to truncate it. For example, using child? as a keyword will retrieve items that contain the root word, child, and all its possible endings: childs, children, childrens, childish, childhood, etc.
