How to Look up Periodicals in the Catalog

- In the Basic Search mode, select Journal Title from the Search By menu by clicking on it
- Always omit initial articles A, An, or The in your search. For example, if you are looking for the periodical The New Yorker, type New Yorker. Keep in mind that only initial articles are dropped, articles within the title are kept. You do not have to type in the entire title in order to find it, but the more complete the periodical title, the more focused your search will be
